Stick Trusses
To find a sustainable forestry and building trades pattern, we must replace "stick construction" with actual sticks, not milled-down "sticks" from plantation-grown softwoods fastened with steel, but actual sticks joined through traditional methods.
While coppiced material is appropriate for climates that have winters, tropical climates have bamboo as an appropriate material. Likewise, this needs more research. Bamboo U published some early truss research and much more is needed.
