Seeking desired effects, designing for a property to emerge

With the goal of easily providing room and board for everyone, we can apply our design skills to provide vastly better solutions than we've ever seen.

In the concept of teselating bedroom pods I've begun exploring neighborhood-sized buildings as the necessary scale for developing human habitat.

This employs numerous strategies to attain a super-density of units:

• elimination of houses in favor of human-colony
• elimination of apartment kitchens in preference of community dining hall
• elimination of staircases by having sloped hallways
• space-optimization of individual rooms, shape optimization to fit dynamically with others

This agressive optimization and discarding of what's unnecessary, is freeing.
