Constructing Poverty

Creating bad habitat impoverishes the inhabitants. Poverty is constructed, poverty is produced, poverty is created by developing deficient habitat.

As seen in these landscaping examples, the approach taken in habitat design can yield assets or liabilities.

Financial costs created by deficient habitat:

• heating bill
• discomfort in heat because a/c is too expensive
• bad food
• requisite of purchased/imported materials for repairs
• car
• child care
• health care

Those are some of the financial costs produced by deficient habitat, which also comes with terrible costs pertaining to lifestyle and happiness.

We can spare ourselves, free ourselves, from all of these financial costs. These expenses should not be part of the overhead cost of living, but they are often considered essential.

It's critical to associate "poverty" (human poverty) directly with the deficiencies of habitat, because the habitat itself is impoverished and this presents difficulties to the inhabitants in regards to every single deficiency that exists.
